a Blessing

The video says it all.
To Nick Vujicic, you never fail making me feel how beautiful life is. You are indeed an inspiration to not only me but to all - You made me realized the true meaning of existence. We need not to have a perfect eyes, perfect face nor perfect body to be happy in life, we just need to appreciate what life's throwing upon us, to LOVE life in all circumstances. And above all, thank God for each day that we got the chance to enjoy life - to wake up another morning, to be able breathe, to communicate, to travel and be amazed with the wonders of creation, that that is quite enough to say 'I am blessed'.

Thanks be to God!

An Email: MARRIAGE

.:Got this from e-mail, a friend of mine sent this on my Inbox:.
.:A short story to Ponder:.

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and
said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly.
Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know
what I was thinking. I want a divorce.. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly,
Why?

You know what the problem is......

"I'm not happy anymore and so I ask for a divorce"

When marriage isn't working out the way you planned it to be, you call for a divorce. Forget 'bout the vows, the commitment and the covenant you've made to God in declaration of your UNCONDITIONAL love for your once upon a time partner.

In our present time, marriage is no longer, well for others, considered sacred as it was before. I've seen a lot of couples who are living happily together, some I could say that would last a lifetime but after a number of years, they fall apart unexpectedly. I am not of course, claiming that I have the perfect marriage ever written in the history of mankind since we just got married last month but I would like to stress out that even if other countries has legalized Divorce, we still have the choice of looking back on our vows and choose the course to make the marriage work.

Ours [how we survived our relationship]

My Perception

When it comes to love,
You're willing to sacrifice...

You'll do anything....
Almost everything...

You lie...
You cry...
You smile...

You become a slave to your own feelings...

Love changes your moods...
Your every being...

The way you think...
The way you see things around you...
The way you perceive life...

Without love...
Life is a waste...
Dull...
Hollow...
No life at all...

For this,
I wouldn't dare living my life...
Without YOU...

'cause you're....

My love...
My life...

Dedicated to my husband, Karl

Leaving you a note.

Event III of this short story has been long overdue. Because of my hectic schedules over the last minute preparation of our wedding, I have to temporarily stop my writing on this one. Been spending hours every night thinking 'bout the next scene and although I already have the draft, still it was not well-presented. I'm crossing my fingers that I will be able to continue this early next year. And since I haven't got any positive response yet on the first two events, pretty sure delaying the third event won't be that much of effect.

Early Happy Holiday greetings to all!!!

Last Christmas being....

Was browsing the net for some Christmas medley song when
the sudden thought of last holiday being SINGLE strucked me.
Guess, pre-wedding jitters is slowly crawling down my spine
as the day of the most awaited moment of my life
is fast approaching.
Yes, I'd be spending my last Christmas being single this 25th of December.
Three days after that,

Last Minute Detail

The Hint

"Dave, are you sure we're not going to end up blaming ourselves for this?" Lianne anxiously confronted her husband.

Dave let out a heavy sigh as he places his Attaché case back on the desk and reach out for Lianne's hand, "Li, it's been a year and a half and everything seemed to fall on its proper places. You worry too much for Grace"

"I just can't help it, Dave. I can't afford to risk Grace meeting her....."

"Oh, shush it will you?!" Dave swiftly cut her off. "I don't want to hear anything anymore starting this minute. This case is close and no, that...." he paused, "that thing will never happen."

Lianne could not do anything else but to obey her husband. After all, he's Mr. Dave Buckenfield......at law.

"Grace, right?"

A Challege

"Go, sell what you have, and give to [the] poor
and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.
Amen, I say to you, there is no one who has given up house
or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake
and for the sake of the gospel who will not receive a hundred times more
now in this present age."
Mk 10:21b, 29-30

'Twas the fourth of June when I saw him again. I was busy reading my all time fave book by Anne Rice when I heard his name being mentioned by the group of cheer squad seated next to my table. Obviously, he got all the eyes of every girl in the campus. I must admit, they have all the reason to do so, for I, myself, admire his perfection as well. He's a straight 'A' student. Excels in almost all of the extra-curricular activities in school. An active member and a leader at the same time of different school organizations. 'Tis my second year here in Vermont High but I've learned a lot of things about him. How will I not, when he's always the talk of every student in our campus.

From the Start

A true story of transformation....

Hi, I'm Ms. Ashley, a young girl of Rizzy's age who grew up with simple yet complicated life. Both of my relatives on mother and father's side were expecting a lot of me, especially on my studies. It is a lot of expectation though but I managed to be always on the honor list. But none of it made me happy. Why? 'cause I'm only doin' it for my family. As I grew up, I had been exposed to different types of people, be in different places and culture. I tried living life as simple as possible but life isn't fair- not with me. I got friends, yes, but just plain friends of which made me often wonder what could possibly was wrong with me that I couldn't even keep just one. Am always in between of any fights in the group and got to be blamed for all of it. Have tried pleasing everyone but it isn't enough. They just come in and out of my life - no permanent at all.

Depression enveloped my being but I hide it to myself. Wearing happy and contented mask is the only weapon I got. People would actually describe me

Sad to belong...

I was listening to itunes this afternoon and got myself humming over and over again with the song "Oh, It's sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along- by England Dan & John Ford Coley". I don't know but it just made me wonder somehow, how could one possibly know that the person he/she just met while being committed to someone else is the right one? *smiles* Personally, I don't think it's possible, not because it didn't happened to me (believe me, it happened a lot of times..lolz), but what's not possible is when you say - the right one comes along. I mean, how would you know really? The worst thing I could think of that could possibly happen to a person being in the situation is: let's say....you're engaged then you met this person (in between), you shared a lot of common things and became intimate then you decided to end your current relationship, only to realize later that you've got wrong interpretation of the whole situation - 'bout your feelings. For sure you will end up saying (still part of the song) "wish I have a time machine, until the day I was born and I would live my life again, and rearrange it so that I'll be back..." not to be yours but to stay in my relationship. ^.^ -giggles-

The whole process of finding True Love lies on how you put meaning towards Existence.

"If you don't know what Existence is,
how will you ever find love?"

A Place we call.....Paradise

Some places speaks distinctly.

I never had a desire so strong for nature before, until 'He' whispered to my ears - 'I have something to show you' and brought me to one of the finest beauty of nature, a place I never thought I would come across to, a Lake.

The sweet breeze of welcoming made me feel the joy of my existence.
While standing at the corner, a tree on the other side of the lake caught our attention. It's as if hypnotizing us, drawing us closer...wanting us to admire its beauty- the leaping spirit of one of its branches on the left wing that is about to fall. Never will I forget that image....ooohhh, if only we brought camera that time. I was thankful that 'He' led me to that place, a place we both called Paradise. It gave me a quick glance of what our earthly happiness is composed of. Truly, there is nothing in the world more enchanting than the hidden mysteries of nature.

Kleinfelter's Adventure

When I was still in High School, my friends and I used to hang out almost every weekend. We used to travel a lot also 'coz most of us were part of the Cultural Troupe and other organizations in school. Every summer, the Kleinfelter's Family [the name we called our group, kleinfelter, is a common misspelling of the original syndrome called the klinefelter syndrome, a type of genetic disorder in the male chromosomal condition, having an extra X chromosome instead of the XY chromosome], wait...enough of the discussion of klinefelter syndrome. Kinda forgot, I am blogging here about our group not the syndrome...Anyway, if you're going to ask why we named our group after that, well, actually i don't know. Maybe I have to ask our group if we're going to have reunion.

One and a Half Hour

One thing I have learned in my present relationship is, having some "Time" for each other, despite of the busy schedules we have. We may not have all the time in the world but being with him for an hour or less means a lot already. We've been together for almost five years, although we do not have a perfect relationship, we see to it that we will always have time for each other.

Last Sunday, after we had our Bowling Championship game, I asked him if I could drive us home. [sshhh..actually I don't have any license...yet] He let me to but only if I will not go beyond 60. I was enjoying the ride then and so instead of turning left to our street,
